1. The service
CVstepUP provides an AI-assisted CV builder and optional AI interview coach. By using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Pricing & refunds
You can build and preview your CV for free. You only pay when you choose to download the final, watermark-free PDF. If you are not 100% happy, contact us within 14 days for a full refund.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to create misleading, fraudulent, defamatory or unlawful content, and don't attempt to break the service or bypass paywalls.
5. Intellectual property
You own the content you enter and the CV you generate. We own the platform, templates and software.
6. AI output
AI-generated suggestions can contain mistakes. Always review your CV before sending it to an employer.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
